SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN'25 Wrap-Up
We are excited to announce that the metaFacturing Project showcased at the
world-renowned SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025 trade fair, from September 15–19, 2025,
in Essen, Germany was a sucess.
This premier event is a global hub for innovations
in joining, cutting, and surfacing technologies, bringing together industry leaders,
researchers, and practitioners from across the world.
The metaFacturing team presented groundbreaking advancements in digital manufacturing,
emphasizing our innovative approach to sustainable and efficient production.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies and methodologies
developed by the project, which aim to redefine the future of manufacturing through
digital twin applications, AI-driven optimization, and circular economic principles.
This was an incredible opportunity to engage with our experts, learn about ongoing research,
and discuss the transformative potential of our work in the manufacturing sector. During the
Schweissen & Schneiden Trade Fair 2025, parters had the opportunity to present at
different stages: Fronius, DVS and SS conference and also to interact with different
clients and stakeholders.
Particularly, the automotive industry went by the metaFacturing
booth and was quite interested in the project. Also, some EWF members (Norway, Greece and
Spain and Germany) visited the metaFacturing.
