Dedicated Workshop and RoundTable at Essen
The Metafacturing consortium will host a dedicated workshop and roundtable on September 15th, from 13:00 to 13:45, at
Fronius booth (Booth 3B63).
This session will present an overview of the project’s key results, focusing on the development of a digitized toolchain for
metal part production.
The Metafacturing framework integrates Digital Twin-based process setup and control, model-based data
fusion, and continuous Life Cycle Assessment, aiming to enhance production resilience, reduce scrap, and optimize resource
use—particularly with recycled materials.
Participants will gain insights into:
• The technological innovations enabling smarter, data-driven manufacturing.
• Demonstrators developed to validate the approach in industrial settings.
• How the project contributes to sustainability and efficiency in metal part production.
