Kick-Off Meeting
Welcome the new Project: METAFACTURING- Data and METAdata for advanced digitalization of
manuFACTURING industrial lines.
The kick-off meeting of the metaFacturing project in taking place in Leuven, Belgium. The
meeting is
being hosted by KU Leuven over 2 days (6th and 7th February) and it is being a great moment
to meet all the partners.
MetaFacturing focuses on a digitized toolchain for metal part production which will lead to a
more resilient production process with respect to the raw materials used, reduces operator
effort and cost, and reduces scrap due to out-of-specification parts.
